最大功德與最大惡業(上)

團結是根本

師兄之間必須團結,團結是最根本的。如果師兄之間為了一點小事生起瞋恨,甚至一分鐘不說話,都會嚴重損害自己與上師、道友之間的清淨關係。

因此,我們不應該為了小事彼此結怨,而應當互相幫助。如果連道友關係、家人關係都沒有處理好,做再多功課也很難真正起到幫助。

真誠懺悔

金剛道友之間一旦發生不和,不能拖延太久,應當盡快向對方道歉與懺悔。要學會圓融,也要學會容納。能圓融一切時,佛法才真正進入生活;能容納一切時,才算是在修行。

他人的缺點和毛病,實際上也是自己的心所顯現。許多上師都提醒過:從不嚴格的角度說,對事物的實有執著不一定馬上算作破誓言;但如果對密宗金剛上師產生嚴重矛盾而長期不懺悔,或把金剛道友當成不共戴天的怨敵來對待,這就是破誓言。

這一點必須謹慎。密宗誓言極多,但法王如意寶每次灌頂、傳密法時都反覆強調:金剛道友之間若發生口角或互不說話,按理應當在過夜之前懺悔。若平時常有互不說話而不懺悔的情況,就不應進入密宗壇城,或共同聞受密法。

團結就是力量,就是加持

金剛道友是生生世世在一起的,所以大家都要互相扶持。老居士應當帶好新居士;大家能團結、能和睦,才會有力量。我們的力量就是加持,力量在一起,加持就在一起。

如果我們不團結,心不相應,力量就無法聚合,共修的加持和功德也會散失。在同一個壇城中,師徒之間、道友之間沒有矛盾衝突,能夠和睦相處,這本身就是一種力量。有了這樣的力量,許多魔障、違緣都無法障礙我們。

眾人的力量和個人的力量不同。眾人的力量像火焰,個人的力量像火星;火焰很容易點燃東西,一個火星卻很難。因此,我們一定要調整好自己的心態。

聽話照做是重要的修行

聽話照做,是很重要的修行。

聽誰的話?聽恩師的話。

這不是盲目,而是把上師反覆交代的重點真正落在日常裡:該學習的反覆學習,該修持的長期堅持,該懺悔的及時懺悔,該和合的馬上調柔。

聞思修的重點

佛法的核心是聞思修行。恩師反覆強調,《二規教言論》《親友書》《大圓滿前行》《入行論》,以及《解脫光明》《大悲法聚》等法本和視頻課,都要反反覆覆、一遍又一遍地學習。

修行上,五加行、觀音心咒、三十五佛懺悔文都要每天堅持。尤其五加行,更要一遍又一遍地修持。

如果能長期聞思修這些功課,自己的信心、出離心、慈悲心都會越來越增長,各方面也會越來越好。因此,一定要抓住這些修行重點。

Companions in practice must remain united. Unity is fundamental. When resentment arises over a small matter, even a brief refusal to speak can seriously harm the pure relationship among the teacher and companions on the path.

For this reason, small matters should not become causes of hostility. Practitioners should support one another. If we cannot handle our relationships with companions and family, even a large amount of formal practice will not truly help.

When discord arises among vajra companions, it should not be left unattended for long. One should apologize and confess with sincerity. Practice asks us to become accommodating and inclusive. When we can harmonize with circumstances, Dharma has entered life; when we can make room for others, practice has begun.

The faults we see in others are also appearances within our own mind. Many teachers have said that, from a less strict perspective, merely clinging to things as real is not immediately treated as a broken commitment. But if one develops severe conflict with a vajra teacher and never repents, or treats a vajra companion as an irreconcilable enemy, that is a breach of commitment.

This point requires care. Vajrayana commitments are numerous, yet Kyabje Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche repeatedly emphasized that when vajra companions quarrel or stop speaking, they should confess before the night passes. If such conflict remains unconfessed, one should not enter the tantric mandala or receive Vajrayana teachings together.

團結就是力量,就是加持

金剛道友是生生世世在一起的,所以大家都要互相扶持。老居士應當帶好新居士;大家能團結、能和睦,才會有力量。我們的力量就是加持,力量在一起,加持就在一起。

Vajra companions meet across lives, so they should support one another. Senior practitioners should help newer practitioners. When a community can remain united and harmonious, it has strength. That strength is blessing: when strength is together, blessing is together.

If we are not united and our hearts are not aligned, strength cannot gather, and the blessing and merit of collective practice fade. Within the same mandala, when teachers, students, and companions live without conflict and can relate harmoniously, that itself is a form of strength. With such strength, many obstacles cannot easily interfere.

The strength of many people is not the same as the strength of one person. The strength of many is like a flame; the strength of one is like a spark. A flame can easily kindle something, while a single spark struggles. Therefore we must steadily adjust our own mind.

聽話照做是重要的修行

聽話照做,是很重要的修行。

聽誰的話?聽恩師的話。

Listening and practicing accordingly is an important part of the path.

Whose guidance should we listen to? The guidance of the spiritual teacher.

This is not blind following. It means taking the teacher's repeated instructions into daily life: study what should be studied again and again, sustain what should be practiced, confess what should be confessed without delay, and soften into harmony where harmony is needed.

The heart of Dharma is study, reflection, and practice. The teacher repeatedly emphasized studying texts and video teachings such as The Two Systems, Letter to a Friend, The Words of My Perfect Teacher, The Way of the Bodhisattva, Liberating Light, and The Great Compassion Dharma Collection again and again.

In practice, one should keep up the preliminary practices, the Avalokiteshvara mantra, and the Confession to the Thirty-Five Buddhas every day. The preliminary practices, or ngondro, especially need to be practiced repeatedly.

If these practices of study, reflection, and meditation continue over the long term, faith, renunciation, and compassion will gradually increase, and many aspects of life will become steadier. Therefore the key points of practice must be held clearly.
