Reflecting on the Nature of Leisure
Reflect on the precious nature of human leisure and completion, generating appreciation and diligence.

I. Settling the Body
First settle the body, keeping the posture stable yet free of tension. After adjusting your posture, rest briefly in this state:
- 1. Sit in full or half vajra posture (lotus or half-lotus position).
- 2. Rest the hands in the posture of meditative equilibrium (dhyana mudra).
- 3. Keep the spine as straight and upright as stacked copper coins.
- 4. Relax the shoulders and let the arms stretch out comfortably.
- 5. Incline the neck slightly forward and draw the chin in.
- 6. Place the tip of the tongue against the palate.
- 7. Lower the gaze to focus softly toward the tip of the nose.
